This hexagonal nut fit a threading of 1-1/4-12. It is made of yellow zinc plated and thus provide medium resistance to corrosion in dry environments and low resistance in wet environments, but Yellow Zinc provide a higher corrosion resistance than regular zinc.

The Grade 8 increases its strength against the pressure and has a tensile strength and hardness of 150,000 psi | Rockwell C33. Furthermore, it features a shear strength of 90,000 psi.

UNF | Fine threads are an industry standard. These nuts are classified as ASME B18.2.2 and comply with dimensional standards.
